// Rule Book

ELOOP_Logo_dunkel.png

Get in the driver's seat,

Let's ride!

The purpose of this rule book is to break down the workflow and rules a StreetCrowd User must follow in order to get paid for each valid move and maintain their active status for charging and relocating ELOOP vehicles.

So let's get into it...

Main Goals:

  1. Move ELOOP vehicles from their current location to be charged at Wien Energie charging stations. The vehicles eligible to be charged are shown on the map in the StreetCrowd app.

  2. Move ELOOP vehicles from charging stations of Wien Energie to the “Hot Zone”.
The vehicles eligible to be relocated are shown on the map in the StreetCrowd app.

The cars eligible to be moved and charged are shown on the map in the StreetCrowd app. You will be paid each Friday for the number of successfully completed tasks.

Signing up for ELOOP:

In order to charge and relocate ELOOP vehicles as a StreetCrowd user you must first register for the ELOOP service. To do so, please create an account here and follow the steps:

You will receive an email once your account is approved on the ELOOP side, and at that point you will be ready to charge and relocate vehicles as a StreetCrowd user.

Moving Cars to "Hot-Zones"

Moving Cars to "Hot-Zones"

Chargin the ELOOP vehicle

Follow the steps to ensure a successful charge:

  1. Locate a vehicle on the map in the StreetCrowd app

  2. Go to the location of the chosen vehicle

  3. Check for any outside damage (see damage report section below) and open the vehicle

  4. Select 1 of 3 available chargers. The free plug at the chargings station is preselected for you.

  5. Drive to the charger’s location

  6. When arriving at the charging station, confirm that it is possible to charge the vehicle. If not, go to another charging station.

  7. Safely park the vehicle with the rear facing the charging station.

  8. Plug the vehicle in the previously assigned plug using a cable stored in the trunk. If the plug is occupied by other vehicle, change the selected plug in the SC app.

  9. Confirm that vehicle is being charged (in the dashboard of the vehicle)

  10. Lock the vehicle

If you are unable to charge the vehicle because of another vehicle being parked there, please follow the in app instructions as to why you cannot charge the vehicle.

Unplug and drive to a Hot Zone

Unplug and Rebalance vehicles to "Hot Zones"

Follow the steps below to ensure a successful and valid move:

  1. Open the StreetCrowd App to view ELOOP vehicles eligible to be unplugged and rebalanced to hot zones

  2. Select a vehicle to view and check the following things to make sure you have chosen the correct vehicle

    1. License plate

    2. Model

    3. Colour

  1. Decide which vehicle you want to move and select which Hot Zone you want to move it to. Do not choose a vehicle if you were the last person to drive it with your personal ELOOP account.

  2. Go to the vehicle and open it with your StreetCrowd app. Do not reserve the vehicle with your personal ELOOP account.

  3. Start the trip by tapping "open vehicle" in the StreetCrowd app. This will freeze the current valid Hot Zones.

  4. Move the vehicle directly to the location you chose and find a valid parking spot within the Hot Zone boundaries. Do not make any unnecessary stops along the way. Verify that you are in a valid parking spot. See ELOOP parking guidelines and as always obey the local parking guidelines.

  5. End the trip and lock the vehicle in the SC app. Please remove any trash and leave the vehicle in a respectable state.

  6. Once the vehicle is locked and you have ended the trip, you will receive an email confirming that your trip has been completed and will be verified for payment.

Important Rules to Follow

To ensure your activated status for StreetCrowd and ELOOP, there are a few important rules to follow.

  • Make sure that you are parked in an approved parking space. Review the Parking Guidelines to learn more about where ELOOP vehicles are allowed to end trips.

  • Do not take or park the car out of the ELOOP Homezone.

  • Whenever you charge a car, please charge directly in the StreetCrowd app. You do not need to use the Wien Energie charging card to charge.

  • Follow the city of Vienna parking rules (specific district parking zones).

  • Upon registration for StreetCrowd and ELOOP, users consent that they shall be liable for damages to ELOOP vehicles. To see more check the ELOOP General Terms and Conditions

  • After unlocking the Vehicle's doors but before starting the motor and driving off, the

Users must check the Vehicle for any visible defect, damage, or gross soiling, and must report these still before starting the motor to hi@streetcrowd.com in the form of written description and photo, detailing the nature and seriousness

of the defect, damage or soiling with the time-stamp.

To know more, check the § 4.7, § 4.8 of ELOOP General Terms and Conditions

Submit the damage report to hi@streetcrowd.com in case:

  • any visible defect, damage, or gross soiling

  • any vehicle malfunction

  • charging card is missing

  • waste and dirt inside the vehicle

Strike System

Please note a number of guidelines in order to make a “valid” move. A move can be declined in case it does not meet the requirements of a valid move

Make sure you are not in danger of committing misuses. If it comes to a violation, certain violations are given a strike system and others result in the user’s StreetCrowd and ELOOP account placed on a temporary hold or deactivation.

The “3 strike system” is very simple, if three strike violations are committed the user will unfortunately be deactivated. *

Strike violations are:

  • Off street parking

  • Parking in a “resident’s only” area and the vehicles being towed

  • A cord of vehicle’s cable plugged into socket incorrectly

  • Leaving vehicle at the charging station without plugging

  • Considerable long move in time and distance

  • Leaving the vehicle in a reservation mode

  • Ending a trip outside a hot zone or not at a charging station

  • Bringing animals in the vehicles

  • Any other reason reported by ELOOP or/and stated in ELOOP General Terms and Conditions.

The following result in an account hold:

  • Not paying fees - associated with their personal ELOOP account.

  • Suspicious activity

  • Any other reason reported by ELOOP or/and stated in ELOOP General Terms and Conditions.

The following result in an account deactivation:

  • Non-paid invoices

  • Leaving waste and dirt behind,

  • Reckless driving

  • 3 strikes of any violation

  • Speeding/parking ticket

  • vehicle impounded

  • Failing to submit the damage report

  • Causing damage to the vehicle

  • Sharing of ELOOP account with others

Any other reason reported by ELOOP or/and stated in ELOOP General Terms and Conditions.
