Which ÖBB Rail&Drive tasks are there?
Vehicle check, exterior wash, Plug-In, Inspection, Mechanic Valet and special cleaning. The pay is fixed per type and shown in the NECTURE portal. Add-ons increase it.

Vehicle check
- A full check: document folder, interior, exterior and tyres.
- Fill in the digital checklist in the portal and upload photos. Every checklist item is mandatory.
- Regular time window. Needs cleaning materials, a hand vacuum and a tread depth gauge.
Exterior wash
- Wash the vehicle outside at a car wash and pay with the fuel card.
- Before and after photos are mandatory. You must carry it out yourself.
- Often added on top of a vehicle check. Regular time window.
Plug-In
- Plug an EV into the charging station.
- Photograph the connected cable and the charge level.
- Always urgent: complete within 4 hours.
Inspection
- A short visual inspection with photos and an optional comment.
- Possible for any vehicle, not just EVs.
- Before and after photos are mandatory. Always urgent: complete within 4 hours.
Mechanic Valet
- Drive the vehicle to or from the workshop (one way).
- Document the handover. Photos before the drive and after handover are mandatory.
- Regular time window.
Special cleaning
- A deep clean for heavy soiling (one way), for example stains or odour after a return.
- Before and after photos are mandatory.
- Regular time window.
Add-ons
- An exterior wash added to a vehicle check. See the exterior wash.
- Refuelling when the tank is below 25%.
- You see the base pay, add-ons and total in the payout summary before you complete a task.
