How does an ÖBB Rail&Drive task work, step by step?
Find and accept a task in the NECTURE portal, unlock the vehicle with your key card, do the work, document it in the portal, lock up and complete the task.

Steps
- Find and review a task. The NECTURE portal lists every open task with the pay for each task. Tap a card to see vehicle, location, time window, task type and pay in detail.
- Accept the task. "Accept task" assigns the job to you. Only now do you see all details, including notes on the exact vehicle location and, if needed, the code for the on-site equipment grid.
- Unlock the vehicle and get your equipment. Hold your Rail&Drive key card against the reader behind the windscreen. For a vehicle check, use your own equipment or the equipment in the lockable grid at the location.
- Complete the task. Carry out the actual work on site.
- Fill in the checklist, add photos and comments. Fill in the digital checklist in the NECTURE portal, upload all mandatory photos, and add comments where necessary, for example missing items or damage.
- Lock the vehicle and return the equipment. Lock the vehicle with the key card. For electric vehicles, plug the charging cable back in. Return any borrowed equipment, lock the grid and put the key back into the key box.
- Review the payout summary and complete. Before you finish, the portal shows the base pay, add-ons and total.
- ÖBB is notified automatically, and your pay is credited to your balance.
