How do I charge a MILES car?
Pick a car with a charging plug icon, choose one of its three chargers, drive straight there, plug it in and start charging in the app. Check it is charging, then lock the car in the app.

Start the charge
- Open the StreetCrowd app on the map.
- Tap a car with a charging plug icon to see its licence plate, model, colour, its three chargers and the pay for each.
- Go to a car near you and choose one of the three chargers.
- Next to the car, unlock it and start the move in the StreetCrowd app.
- Drive directly to the charger. Don't make any unnecessary stops.
Charge the car
- Park safely in one of the two parking spaces at the charger.
- Plug the car into the assigned plug with the cable from the boot.
- Tap "Start charging" in the app to activate the charging station. Once it is activated, you have 2 minutes to plug the cable into the station. After that it blocks itself and charging isn't possible.
- Check on the car's dashboard that it is charging to 100%.
- Take your belongings and remove any rubbish.
- Lock the car in the StreetCrowd app.
- You get an email that the move is complete and will be checked for approval.
Notes
- If another car is parked at the charger, follow the app's instructions to say why you can't charge.
- If you can't lock the car in the app, call MILES at +49 30 837 99699 so they can lock it, then contact StreetCrowd so the move can be finished.
