Rules

GreenGo rules.

What you need to take GreenGo tasks, the rules for every move, the strike system and how payment works. A move that breaks these rules is declined.

Taken from the old GreenGo rule book. Not yet reviewed by Ops.

Who can take GreenGo tasks

  • An activated GreenGo account. If you have none, download the GreenGo app and sign up for free within 48 hours of signing up for StreetCrowd.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • A valid European driving licence, category B, held for at least one year.

Once your GreenGo account is activated and your StreetCrowd registration is complete, you receive an activation email.

Rules for every move

  • Don't reserve the car with your personal GreenGo account.
  • Don't drive a car from a Hot Zone with your personal GreenGo account within 3 hours of a StreetCrowd move.
  • Park in a valid spot that follows GreenGo rules and the city's parking regulations. See the GreenGo parking guidelines. You pay the costs of tickets or parking fees caused by unlawful parking.
  • Drive directly to the Hot Zone. StreetCrowd can't validate moves that go over the estimated distance or duration. Going over them leads to immediate deactivation of your StreetCrowd account.
  • Never go over the speed limit: 70 km/h in Budapest, even on the few roads in GreenGo's service zone where more is allowed.
  • Tell GreenGo about any damage to a GreenGo car before you get in or drive it.
  • You don't need to charge GreenGo cars. Only leave a car at a charging spot if you are going to charge it. Don't use the charging spot for parking.
  • Two StreetCrowders, each driving a GreenGo car, must never drive behind one another in traffic.

Liability

  • When you register for StreetCrowd, you agree to be liable for damage to GreenGo cars and to follow the Terms and Conditions of Use of the GreenGo Service.
  • If two or more GreenGo cars driven by StreetCrowders are involved in the same accident, the insurance doesn't cover the damage. You cover 100% of it.

Strike system

A move is declined if it breaks GreenGo or StreetCrowd (NECTURE GmbH) rules. Depending on the violation, the result is a strike, a temporary hold on your account, or immediate deactivation of your StreetCrowd and GreenGo accounts. Three strikes and your account is deactivated.

A strike

  • Off-street parking.
  • Going over the estimated distance.
  • Going over the estimated duration.
  • Leaving the car in reservation mode.
  • Ending a move with the car parked outside the chosen Hot Zone.
  • Speeding. The maximum speed is 70 km/h. If you speed repeatedly, GreenGo reserves the right to treat your moves as private rentals and charge you the matching fees, after an individual review.

A temporary hold

  • Driving a car from a Hot Zone with your personal GreenGo account within 3 hours of your last StreetCrowd move.
  • Unpaid fees on your personal GreenGo account.

Deactivation

  • Invoices unpaid 30 days after the date of issue.
  • Leaving waste or dirt behind.
  • Reckless driving.
  • An impounded car.
  • A damaged car.
  • Sharing a GreenGo or StreetCrowd account.
  • A speeding or parking ticket.
  • Speeding. Never go over the city's maximum permitted speed, 70 km/h in Budapest, even where a road allows more.
  • Smoking in the car.
  • Animals in the car.
  • Eating or drinking in the car.
  • Drinking alcohol or taking drugs before or during a trip.
  • Three strikes of any kind.

Payment

  • The app shows the pay for each destination before you choose.
  • Payouts go to your PayPal account at least one day after your moves are validated.
  • Payouts are sent Monday to Friday, except Austrian public holidays, as the sum of your valid and approved moves plus any active bonuses.
  • Each valid move also adds driving credit to your personal GreenGo account.
