How does a Hot Zone move work?

Pick a car in the StreetCrowd app, choose one of its three Hot Zones, start the move in the StreetCrowd app and drive straight there. Park in a valid spot, end the move and lock the car. Which app unlocks and locks the car depends on the operator.

Steps

  1. Open the StreetCrowd app on the map.
  2. Tap a car to see its licence plate, model, its Hot Zones and the pay for each.
  3. Choose one of the three Hot Zones.
  4. Go to the car and unlock it. Your operator's note says which app to use.
  5. Start the move in the StreetCrowd app. This fixes the Hot Zone you chose.
  6. Drive directly to the Hot Zone with the map app you prefer. Don't make any unnecessary stops.
  7. In the Hot Zone, park in a valid spot that follows the operator's rules and the city's parking rules.
  8. End the move, take your belongings and remove any rubbish, and lock the car. The order and the app depend on the operator.
  9. You get an email that the move is complete.

Operator notes

  • MILES: the car shows its colour as well. Go to a car near you. Next to the car, unlock it in the StreetCrowd app. Park safely and end the move, take your belongings and remove any rubbish, then lock the car in the StreetCrowd app. The email says the move will be checked for approval.
    • Don't reserve the car with your personal MILES account.
    • Don't move a car you last drove with your personal MILES account.
  • Evo: tapping an Evo shows its licence plate, model, three suggested routes to the nearest Hot Zones and the pay for each. You must be within 500 metres of the car to unlock it and start the move. Unlock the car and start the move in the StreetCrowd app. Get directions with the map app you prefer and drive straight there, without any stops along the way. End the move in an approved parking spot: see where you can park an Evo. Then take your belongings, remove any rubbish and lock the car in the StreetCrowd app. The email confirms that the move is complete.
    • Book the move through StreetCrowd, not in the Evo app. Only a move booked through StreetCrowd counts.
    • Don't move an Evo you were the last person to drive.
    • You pay for parking tickets and tows, so follow Evo's parking rules.
  • GreenGo: the car shows its colour as well. Go to a car near you. Next to the car, unlock it in the GreenGo app, then start the move in the StreetCrowd app. Park in a valid spot that follows GreenGo rules and the city's parking regulations and park safely. Take your belongings and remove any rubbish, lock the car in the GreenGo app, and only then end the move in the StreetCrowd app. The email says the move will be checked for approval.
    • Don't reserve the car with your personal GreenGo account.
    • Never go over 70 km/h in Budapest.
  • MOL Limo: the car shows its colour as well. Go to a car near you. Before you get in, take four photos of the car. Next to the car, unlock it in the StreetCrowd app. Take the shortest available route and the estimated travel time, and don't go over 70 km/h. Park in a valid spot that follows the MOL Limo rules and the city's parking rules. Park safely, switch off the speed limiter and end the move. Take your belongings, remove any rubbish and lock the car in the StreetCrowd app. Then take four photos of the car and a screenshot of the chosen Hot Zone, and email all the photos to limo_streetcrowd@mol.hu with the licence plate. The email says the move will be checked for approval.
    • Don't reserve the car with your personal MOL Limo account.
    • Don't move a car you last drove with your personal MOL Limo account.
    • Don't drive a car from a Hot Zone with your personal MOL Limo account within 3 hours of a StreetCrowd move.
